💡Technology talk💡 The Mid-ship SAL (Single Anchor Loading) is a subsea loading system designed to be the sole offtake system for fixed and floating production units. Located on the seafloor, away from wave action and surface vessels, the mid-ship SAL allows vessels to weathervane freely while providing a robust, low-maintenance alternative to catenary anchor leg mooring (CALM) buoys. Great, • Also the second type is Single Point Mooring SPM CALM, where hoses from PLEM are connected via Bouncy tank to the bottom of SPM turret. • Moreover the Oil Tanker ( 600K / 1M BBL) anchored from front side to SPM Bouy by moored hawsers during loading, this valuable for non stable sea waves.
