Law Clerk (JD) at Greenberg Traurig; Principal at 606 Capital LLC

Wow. I turned 40 and passed the California Bar Exam within 2 weeks. I am so tremendously relieved to be through this extremely stressful process, and to have only had to attempt it once. I'm grateful to my amazing wife, Noelle, who has treated me with so much love and support through this process that I don't even have the words to express how lucky I am to have her as my wife and mother of my children. I really could not have done this without her. I'm also in the deepest of debts to Max Schulman, an excellent partner and even better friend, who has stood by me in the best and worst of times, and who I hope to one day return to him even 10% of the grace and support he has given me over the long road to becoming an attorney in addition to a property investor. If anyone ever did the whole corporate attorney thing backwards, it's me. I got an MBA at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Masters of Real Estate Finance at Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate had a very full career in real estate investment, first working for others, and then as an entrepreneur providing superior workforce housing to young professionals in Chicago. After realizing how much I loved completing real estate transactions, I decided to go back to school yet again to become an attorney and get others to let me execute real estate transactions on their behalf. I thought I was maybe a bit too old to go through the grueling law school process, but Case Western Reserve University School of Law made the decision extremely easy by believing in me enough to offer me the the position of Sugarman Scholar of business law. If you are later in your career, like I was, and weighing whether to take the leap of faith to go back to school, a fellowship that dramatically reduces costs makes it a no-brainer decision to bet on yourself and embark on that daunting 1L process. In any event, now that I'm here, I absolutely need to thank Michael Davis for recognizing the unique background that I bring and providing the me the opportunity to come to Greenberg Traurig, LLP and work with the most incredible real estate team in the business. I look forward to bringing my wealth of real estate knowledge to bear to provide exceptional value for our clients. Need someone to help you buy commercial property? I promise that you will not find better value for money than me, and will not find better, more competent counseling anywhere other than the Los Angeles Greenberg Traurig, LLP real estate team.
