A great example of an ad speaking ‘to’ an audience instead of ‘at’ them. #pgLang #investinyourself https://lnkd.in/gdnH6gTj

Last week, I was lucky to be a recipient of the McMaster Arch Alumni award presented by the Alumni Association McMaster. It’s an award that recognizes recent graduates for their unique and interesting contributions to society, their local community, and to McMaster University. When I found out a few months ago that I’d be receiving this award, I really didn’t believe it. No, seriously… I had to get my wife (Anu Singh) to re-read the email as I was sure it was some kind of mistake. Well it wasn’t. MAC was super influential in making me the person that I am today. I found myself in the seven years that I spent there, and for them to recognize me like this means the world to me. A big thank you to my family, McMaster University, DeGroote School of Business - McMaster University and my mentor Mandeep M.. Big congratulations to my fellow recipients as well 🏆 Do the work…👊🏾

I'm excited to be teaching at Centennial College this semester. The class is Brand Management, and two weeks in...I've been really enjoying the discussions we've been having in the classroom so far, when it comes to brands and how they impact our daily lives. A big shoutout to Steven Khan for bringing me on board, and Kayleigh Dunn, CLC for being a great colleague and mentor. This summer's going to be fun. Class in session. 🎒 🏫

Today I officially announce that I will not be returning as Host of Windsor Morning. It's a decision based on personal reasons but one that was very difficult to make. I can't say enough about my time with the show and the city of Windsor. All I ever wanted to as a kid was to be a radio host, and Windsor Morning allowed me to make that dream a reality. I have to thank the people of Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton for making me a part of their mornings over the last two years. You made waking up at 4am everyday worth it. I felt honoured to be able to share your stories on our airwaves, and to have some very memorable and moving conversations. I have to also thank my amazing CBC Windsor team for being so good to me during my time on the show. Thanks for the great times on air as well as off air. We truly were a family, and the trust you guys gave me on a daily basis to bring our show to life was something I never took for granted. As for what's next for me, I'm excited to be back at CBC Toronto for the time being as a guest host, as well as a member of the local team covering the upcoming Mississauga By-Election. Thanks for listening Windsor! Until next time! ❤️

It’s my first day back to work from parental leave. I feel really fortunate to have been able to have this time with my kids. Being able to take in a cuddle, a laugh, the joy of a new toy, or the happiness of a new word was extra special over the last four and a half months. Things certainly mean more when you witness them from the point of view of a child. It forces you to be present and to enjoy every moment. That’s something I’ll take with me as I get back into routine. Speaking of routine, I’m excited to be guest hosting Ontario Morning for the next couple of weeks. Tune in via the CBC Listen app between 6am to 8:30am…especially if you live in and around Barrie, Peterborough and Kingston. 🎙️📻

A big thank you to University of Windsor and the Odette School of Business - University of Windsor for inviting me to speak to students from their Masters of Management Program. I got to speak about curiosity and how that’s guided my career. It was an engaging group of students, most that are new to Windsor. Hoping I can be back again soon! 🙏🏽

Had a blast sitting in the host chair for Metro Morning this week. 📻🎙️☕️ What an experience. It felt like the perfect way to cap off an eventful 2022. Plus it was nice to connect with my CBC Toronto colleagues again. A big thank you to the team behind the show for all of their support; and for everyone who managed to tune in. It made this trip home extra sweet. Looking forward to being back on Windsor Morning on January 2nd. 🙌🏾 CBC/Radio-Canada
