Did you know that nearly 80% of workers in the hospitality industry experience some form of Mental Health Issue? High levels of depression and anxiety have seen a noticeably increased percentage among staff due to physical demands, long hours, irregular shifts, and the need to maintain a positive demeanor while interacting with guests. To better support my team and manage my own well-being, I revisited the Health and Wellbeing in Hospitality Module from Typsy. This has given me a deeper understanding of how to create a supportive environment and tackle burnout and anxiety effectively. (One of my favorite Module's completed from Typsy to date!!). My hopes are to foster a healthier, more supportive work environment.
