"The line between good and evil runs not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties-but right through every human heart." - Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Russian Author and Historian One of the things that we do is assume there is a line separating "us from them." This particular line helps us to wrongfully believe that people on "our side" are right or good while the people on "the other side" are wrong or evil. However, Solzhenitsyn tells us the truth here. That line goes right through every human heart. There is some good in the other and there is some evil within me. Just that simple acknowledgment starts to chip away at the dualistic thinking that I and my enemy are different from one another. A more accurate picture is that the war between good and evil is a constant thing within every one of us.

There are certain laws that govern the entire universe and they are inflexible and unyielding because they are indispensible principles and laws that ensure the stability of the entire solar system! Just like those laws govern the entire solar system in the universe there are eternal moral values and laws that are inherent within our lives,hearts and minds that God designed for our own divine protection and for the propagation of the entire human race! Just like we cannot violate these natural and scientific laws without paying a high price,moral and upright laws that God has designed for our wholesome fulfillment and for the well being of the entire human race are equally important! In conclusion we are aware that there are certain anti christian groups that are hellbent on destruction.They brazenly and deliberately and intentionally attack the eternal timeless biblical values and principles to their own peril!

Should we prepare for the rapture or the tribulation? Lately I did a talk at the Bridge Christian Fellowship about the different views on the second coming - in relation to the rapture and the tribulation. You can find it on https://lnkd.in/eSVir9vA This led to some comment on the issue of how do we get ready for these events. So I have done a follow on talk on the subject of preparing for the Coming of the Lord. Find it at: https://lnkd.in/eSJyV4Y2   Main points in these talks.   1.    The Bible is clear that Jesus will return to the earth, not as the Suffering Servant this time, but as the reigning king with all power of God to sort out the mess humans have made of the earth. 2.    Before He comes there will be a seven period of great tribulation on earth. During this time those who believe in Jesus will face the possibility of martyrdom. 3.    At some point – either before or in the middle of or at the end of the great tribulation, the Lord will take all born again believers in Jesus out of the world to Himself in the event known as the rapture. 4.    We should be ready to meet with the Lord at any time by repenting and believing the Gospel. 5.    We should also be ready to suffer and die for our faith if called to do so.   One objection to the pretribulation rapture is the view that people who believe this will be disillusioned if they find themselves being persecuted by the Antichrist in the Great Tribulation.  The second talk gives some thoughts on this question.    1.    Trust in the Lord who is greater than the power of evil. 2.    Seek first the kingdom of God. Sufficient unto the day is evil thereof. Get on with life now and trust God to help in the time of need. 3.    Don’t panic – look up your redemption draws near. Believe what God says in the Bible about the blessed hope of Jesus’ return.   Lots of details on this talk which is well worth listening to.  Also at https://lnkd.in/eJCsrNTQ
