“Judge a man by his questions, rather than his answers” -Voltaire Improving your questions as a mechanic can dramatically change the outcome of your day; here’s how. If your questions are: 👉 can I have a raise? 👉 can I leave early? 👉 can I get paid for my mpi’s They work better as: 💪 what can I do to help the team, and myself earn more? 💪 dispatch says we’re caught up, can I go see my daughters recital? 💪 these 45 ROs received a full walkaround VMPI, and there were zero upsells sold. What can I do to ensure we sell more work? That’s effort, asking the right questions, with context, and data. When you put in the effort, show you care, high value leaders take notice, and act. If they don’t act, and in your best interest, after you’ve put in the effort, that’s why I just published a recruitment series on the podcast. Need an example of a high value service leader?
