🚀 Exciting news from the Millennium Challenge Corporation! Today, the MCC Board of Directors approved significant investments in Belize and Sierra Leone, aiming to spark economic growth, reduce poverty, and promote democracy. 🔹🇧🇿 Belize Compact: With a $125 million investment, the focus will be on enhancing education and lowering high electricity costs. The Education Project emphasizes inclusion and equity, creating opportunities for traditionally excluded groups and addressing gender gaps in education and workforce preparation. 🔹🇸🇱 Sierra Leone Compact: Because 70% of Sierra Leone's population lacks access to electricity, MCC's $480 million investment will help provide affordable energy to 4.6 million people. MCC's Board approved this investment in recognition of progress made to implement the Agreement for National Unity, including the delivery of the draft Electoral Review Committee report, which is expected to be finalized and published in the coming days. These actions taken to date represent a critical advancement of efforts to strengthen Sierra Leone’s democratic and electoral institutions following the June 2023 elections. These investments are designed to directly benefit those in need, driving sustainable economic growth and fostering resilient democratic institutions. #MCC20 #InvestmentOpportunity #sustainabledevelopment ➡️ Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e-fUqZSm

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the status of our project under the FONZID program at Tetouan Park Industrial Zone MOROCCO. This letter conveys our surprise upon learning about the decision not to open the tender and to suspend the project without prior notice. We had high hopes for this project as a significant opportunity to realize our venture related to manufacturing professional ovens for bakeries and restaurants. We had diligently prepared all the necessary designs and studies, with ambitious plans for this investment. Therefore, we would appreciate clarification on the reasons behind altering the project's overall objectives and halting it. We are eager to understand if there is a possibility to revive the project or obtain alternative support. We are committed to contributing constructively and leveraging the economic opportunities presented by the region. We look forward to a prompt response to this inquiry, as we are keen to cooperate and make a positive contribution to the region's development. Thank you for your understanding.

Congratulations to both Belize and Sierra Leone on securing substantial support from the Millennium Challenge Corporation. This much-needed assistance will significantly enhance infrastructure and drive economic development in these nations.

Congratulations MCC on your commendable intervention in Belize and Sierra Leon. Thirza Zavatakim in Nigeria is one company you can partner with to plan and replicate similar strategic sustainable development interventions.
