This month marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a landmark legislation that broke down barriers to #inclusion. The MCG Health Clinical Education team recently participated in #teambuilding activities at the Hot Stove Society, a culinary school in downtown Seattle (see pics below). The MCG Health team had a wonderful time at the annual AHIP 2024 conference this week. Highlights included seeing many of our health plan clients (see pic below), plus hosting over 130 payer professionals at our June 11 meeting on how MCG supports payer-provider #interoperability and automated authorization workflows (which, in turn, reduces burdens on providers).

Last week, MCG Health's Amber S., Shweta Upadya, PMP, and Stephanie Newby Tice, joined Christian Evans (from our fellow Hearst company, MOTOR Information Systems) for some amazing #volunteer work at Food Lifeline in Seattle. During their 2-hour shift, they sorted and packaged an impressive 5,010 lbs. of bakery items. This food will go on to support local food banks, shelters, and meal programs, helping those in need throughout our community. 🌟 Check out the photos (below) from their rewarding day of service!

MCG congratulates Mount Sinai Health System for being recognized as the 2024 recipient of the Hearst Health Prize, an award presented by MCG's parent company, Hearst Health, in partnership with the UCLA Center for SMART Health. The Mount Sinai team developed a #machinelearning application called NutriScan #AI that facilitates faster identification and treatment of malnutrition in hospitalized patients.
