Founder of Storage Scholars - Helping university housing officers improve their students' arrival & departure experience

When I started my entrepreneurial journey, I believed entrepreneurship was about getting rich quickly and hustling. On a micro level, this couldn’t be further from the truth. You feel like you’re working all the time and feel like nothing is getting done. You feel like you’re making no money and watch your peers with big salaries “live the dream.” You work irregular hours and do stuff your ego tells you is “below your pay grade” when nobody else will. You will get rich quickly if you start a business but definitely not in cash. You’ll quickly grow rich with knowledge, purpose, experiences, a network of incredible people, and belief in yourself. The cash part takes a whole lot longer.
