🌾 Our latest research in India showed that adding biochar to red clay soil increased its water-holding capacity by 30%, confirming biochar's potential to improve soil properties. For detailed results and technical insights, check the link in the comments. 📊 We're dedicated to finding where biochar offers the greatest benefits to support agricultural communities effectively. While these findings are promising, they highlight that biochar's impact varies by soil type. For example, sandy soils see a more significant increase in water retention compared to clay soils. However, biochar’s other benefits, like reduced bulk density and enhanced microbial growth, have yet to be found to differ across soil types. Farmers in Ambajogai, India, are already experiencing these benefits. By applying MASH Makes biochar with organic fertilizer, they've achieved higher crop yields even during droughts. 🌾🌞 This combination has proven effective across multiple seasons, underscoring biochar's versatility and value. #Agriculture #Biochar #Sustainability #Research #SoilHealth #MASHMakes
