I am SO EXCITED about this. As a daily, lifetime listener of NPR, I've long been a fan of its wide-ranging and important journalism married with lively and fun storytelling. As a business journalist, I've long admired the work of Pallavi Gogoi and her fantastic Business team; I'm so thrilled to join Emily Kopp Rafael Nam Scott Horsley Andrea Hsu Camila Domonoske Dave Folkenflik Bobby Allyn Dara Kerr and to reunite with fellow Reuters alum Alina Selyukh. And, as someone who's loved being interviewed on All Things Considered and other NPR programs in the past, I am so excited about the opportunity to learn audio reporting and broadcasting from the best in the business. It's bittersweet to leave Fortune, where I've been given the opportunity to work with so many fantastic journalists and to learn and do so much. I'll be there for another week, and have many more thanks to give, but am so grateful for my time there. ❤️ https://lnkd.in/e_SbTT8G
I'm so very proud of my friend Maria Aspan and fan-girling very hard right now 😍 . I can't wait to see you alongside many of the bylines and voices I love to read and listen to, and I believe this beat is so important at this moment in history. You just inspired me to up my monthly support for the one and only NPR! Go get 'em; I'll be here in DC to toast you any time you're in town.
So awesome!! I am also a complete NPR nerd. Can't wait to hear your voice on the radio ❤️
