Brainstorming help needed! Next month I'm presenting to a group of nonprofit leaders on the topic of Thought Leadership for Servant Leaders. Background: We typically hear about thought leadership in a business/for-profit context. For nonprofit leaders, thought leadership is less about building a personal brand and more about furthering a mission and inspiring others to join in. (Of course, business leaders can do these things too. I'm painting broad strokes here.) Anyway, I'm looking for some vivid examples to share. Who are the most influential people you know in nonprofit, mission-focused or faith-based work? Looking to spotlight some fresh voices who are advancing a cause through their ideas and insights. I'm also looking for any practical advice for nonprofit leaders who want to take the first steps toward building thought leadership.
