Are you or a member of your team going out on an extended leave? Are you hoping someone could easily slot in and provide coverage while also offering years of experience in media, ad sales, creative effectiveness and marketing? In the US, we are finally starting to offer much needed, appropriate parental leave. But this gift of time with family is often challenging for the person going out on leave and the people left to cover the work. I’d love to help fill the gap on your team! Please contact me if I can support you or your team to provide much needed coverage. #OpenToWork #LeaveCoverage #ParentalLeave #MaternityFillIn #Contractor #Consultant

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Founder at Pudavick Media Group LLC! After a decade at Google, a master class in business, professionalism, and how to constantly learn from those around you, I’m excited to take the next step in my career. At my first job out of college, one of the Account Executives went out on parental leave and the company hired a consultant to come in and cover her business while she was out. I was so impressed by this and subsequently shocked by how infrequently I saw it happen again throughout my career. We are finally taking extended leaves more seriously in this country but more often than not, it is left to other employees to pick up extra work and provide necessary coverage. So I've decided that the right next step for me is go into business for myself, offering the expertise I have amassed in sales and marketing as a consultant. I'm specifically interested in providing coverage for long term leaves or project based efforts. As a parent myself, and someone who needed to start one of my leaves unexpectedly early, this is a cause that is very important to me. I feel like I've been given the chance of a lifetime and I can't wait to see what I can do with it! I'm thrilled to share that I've already hit the ground running. My first assignment is a maternity leave coverage role as Head of US Sales at WeTransfer. Thank you Adam Smith and Marisa Harary for taking a chance on me and trusting me with your business. I am honored to support this amazing team and company while WeTransfer makes the appropriate efforts to support employees both on leave and working every day. Please reach out if you or your company are planning for a long term leave or have a project where my services can support your business.

Throughout the pandemic, I teamed up with Akshat G., Daniel Enriquez, Joyce Ma & Matthew Lindley in an attempt to better understand how premium brands communicate value--without discounting--in times of uncertainty. When we kicked off this research, we assumed it would be super impactful in 2021 (and it was)...but we *did not* expect the POV to be just as relevant as advertisers consider their messaging in 20-freaking-23. After reviewing hundreds of ads across luxury auto, beauty, fashion & tech, we learned that the best ads strike a balance between function & emotion. Specifically, spots that combined simplicity & clarity with wellness & therapeutic value were extremely effective, especially when compared to ads that used traditional luxury codes like badge value or exclusivity. The top ads were also terrific in execution, using mobile-first visual language, multiple sonic elements & clear, direct CTAs. I’ll add that those who master creative fundamentals like these have a major competitive advantage, as these levers were, and continue to be, *massively underutilized*. This project allowed me to stretch as a creative leader & producer, so I’m incredibly grateful that Raine Katz & Lindsay Pudavick gave me a shot to lead the research. Beyond that, the insights resonated with dozens of amazing clients--many of whom partnered with us to push the work to even greater heights over the next 18 months. Look out for those learnings in the coming weeks. #creativity #advertising #luxury https://lnkd.in/eu-29Mf8?
