Still remember 10 years ago on this very day entering iconic Cadbury House and starting my career in one of the most loved brands of our childhood. Never thought that I could spend a whole decade in one company because I always believe that “change is the only thing which is constant” but you don’t necessarily need to change company till you get enough challenges which keep you motivated. Some of the things which have kept me “always alive and kicking” are: 1. Experience of different culture and roles across finance vertical (8 roles across 4 different countries). 2. Opportunity to travel Mondelez facilities across globe (From Australia to China, Nigeria, Bahrain, Turkey, Switzerland, France…). 3. Flexibility as you move to different stages of your life (From WFH to moving to my hometown due to my personal need). 4. Mentors and managers who have always supported and guided you in your career. 5. A group of friends who joined with you and are still there after 10 years even though in different parts of the world. Thanks to all my mentors, managers and colleagues without which the journey would not have been possible and looking forward to many more years to come…

We’re witnessing a powerful shift in society, marked by progress in how we express ourselves, from our attire to our thoughts, and even our acceptance of diverse sexual preferences. Change is not just inevitable; it’s essential. It’s time we celebrate the positives of this evolution while being mindful of potential challenges. Yet, this openness remains a privilege for a select few. Many are still navigating their way towards sexual awareness through less formal means ( Friends, So called Dirty Megazines, Movies etc) which can often lead to misconceptions. Not everyone receives this knowledge in a manner that empowers them; instead, it leaves many feeling vulnerable. Discreet handover of products wrapped in newspaper at pharmacies symbolizes a broader issue – the withholding of crucial knowledge under the guise of preserving respect. It’s imperative that we respect the emotions, anxieties, and needs of the younger generation. We must foster an environment of understanding, rather than one where respect is commanded through concealment. The question and endless debate remains: where do we draw the line? The Ship of Theseus paradox mirrors our current state of awareness – transformative yet shrouded in secrecy. We don't know how original the Ship still is ,or the new Ship has already taken over. To enjoy this change, as a society, we must strive for Holistic Maturity, where we exist as an organised tribe but still free, cohesive and empowering yet respectful.
