I had the opportunity to spend some time this week with my adult son. As I watched him, and listened to him, I was proud of the amazingly resourceful person he has become. It made me reflect on our company at SureTest and why we have associates that always go the extra mile for our clients. I realized it is because with every person we bring on board, we focus on their ability to be resourceful. Resourcefulness stands tall as the cornerstone of problem-solving. 🧩💡 It's the ability to think on your feet, adapt to new situations, and turn limitations into opportunities. 🔧✨ When seeking top talent, I encourage my team to look for candidates who embody resourcefulness - those who thrive in solving a problem, innovate in scarcity, and never shy away from a challenge. 🌟💼 Embracing this quality not only leads to solutions that break boundaries but also fosters a culture of resilience and growth within your team. 💪💬 #Resourcefulness #ProblemSolving #InnovationMatters 🚀🔍

Loved your article Sarah Richardson - When Jack was little, we made him divide up any monies he got for gifts and what not. He had to save some, he could spend some, but with the third bucket he needed to use the money and as importantly his time, and pick where he was going to give back to the world. Those little trinkets we teach our kids early can create a snowball of giving. I believe we all should reflect and regularly be thinking about where we are going to give back, with both time and money to help make a difference and to leverage giving as a point of connection. We all chose to work an in industry where serving and giving makes such a difference in a patients life. If we can continually expand our opportunities to make an impact, in big and small ways - the expansion effect is magical. It’s a pretty easy concept. When you give, you get. And I don’t mean reciprocity with opportunity, or “Karma” - It is the fundamental feeling that we can experience and get, from giving. When you take the time to allow that warmth to wash over you, knowing that you have made the day a little better and a little brighter for somebody else - That is where Joy lives. It is a win-win. And I believe we win when we give. I am proud to be a part of the yellow hat club for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and thrilled to be a part of the great work This Week Health is doing to spread joy and kindness!

Thank you to everybody who supported the fundraiser Jack O'Toole did for young adults battling cancer - the “expect miracles foundation”. And thank you for indulging my proud mom moment! Jack was not only a top fundraiser performer in his group, but was recently recognized for being the winner of a financial pitch contest for PGIM - for these reasons, he was invited to celebrate the success of the fundraiser at the New York stock exchange this evening. Thank you to everyone that supported him! Jack keep giving back to those who most need help! #expectmiraclesfoundation

Meghan Locklair your recent post on breathing and stress management inspired me to share my experience with a powerful tool that has transformed my approach to mindfulness and well-being. A huge shoutout to Jamie Nelson , a dear friend and Partner client, who introduced me to the "oura" ring during a delightful dinner in NYC. This innovative device, which HSS got for their physicians, (HSS Top BOX) has been a game changer for me in managing stress, sleep patterns, and overall mindfulness. Ironically a few days later I was at a music fest with my son and noticed that Samantha Weixel (my son’s beautiful girl :) had one too. Her testimonial about the ring's ability to anticipate health issues was compelling. After using it for a month now, I can attest to its profound impact on my daily routine, reminding me to prioritize mindfulness, breathing, and physical activity goals - and the best part, You only need to charge it once a week! If, like me, you appreciate visual reminders to enhance your well-being have tools that make you show up better for your teams and the people you love , I highly recommend exploring the "oura" ring. It has helped me stay attuned to my body, take quick breaks, the importance of breathing work - I could go on and on! So Thanks, Meghan, for sparking this conversation! 🌟 ring photo below in comments ! #Mindfulness #StressManagement #HealthTech
The diary of a leader handling stress 1% better. I was indifferent to breathwork until I learned this one word: Parasympathetic. When I learned . . . One: The parasympathetic system regulates “rest and digest” functions. Two: The sympathetic system controls “fight-or-flight” responses. Three: Due to chronic stress, we can remain in more of that fight or flight state than our bodies are meant to. Example: Fight or flight responses (heart racing, increased blood pressure, sweating, feeling a surge of adrenaline) are great for when we're needing to respond to external stress - every now and then. Key words: every now and then. However: Fight or flight seems to become a slow drip of normalcy that leaders live with. So my question: Can I, as an aspiring leader, handle stress better? Get in front of it. Because "avoiding" stress doesn't seem to be an option. Enter: The Parasympathetic Nervous System and the ability for a 2 minute breath-sesh to turn it on. Key Finding: Josh Trevorrow and James Nestor (links below) have taught me that the simple change up from mouth breathing to nostril breathing can help shift my nervous system from a state of flight or flight to rest and digest. No one hour meditations. We're talking 2-5 minutes of quiet, slowed down breathwork, specifically through my nose can help me handle my stress. We as leaders will never be able to avoid stress. So why not embrace learning how to handle it better? Counseling, working out, talking with a friend, going on a walk - are all amazing tools to lean on. Breathwork seems to be the most available one to us all. But very underutilized. For those ready to join me in handling stress better but only have 2 minutes a day, I've included links to the resources in the comments. Cheers!

Sarah Richardson - insightful and timely. Sometimes I want to say to clients please don’t interact with me as just a “vendor” - it almost feels like a dirty word to me now. Real Partnership is where Magic happens. I have been on the client side as an employee and leader and obviously here I am on the “vendor-partner” side. I am 1000% certain that with collaboration, a mutual respect for each others time, an understanding that by engaging, responding or getting that last paperwork over the finish line so we can begin our work - those are the clients that we will continually push to always exceed their expectations, to be even more creative with pricing, donate to their most meaningful causes or passions. And if they ever find themselves in a downsize situation or new leadership comes in and they are no longer the “right fit” - those clients that treat me as a partner - Those are the ones I will go to bat for in the market - spend significant personal time to do all I can to help them land their next opportunity etc. etc. In the embodiment of real partnership everyone wins. Being treated like a transaction is no fun!. Being treated like a partner with mutual desire for each others success - WOW that is magic and comes back 10 fold!
In the rapidly changing world of #HealthIT, Sarah Richardson discovered something game-changing: the power of treating vendors as strategic partners. This approach transforms how you collaborate, innovate, and achieve success in healthcare. Working closely with vendors can bring incredible expertise, enhance cybersecurity, and keep you ahead of the curve. It's not just about the technology; it's about building strong, trusting relationships that drive long-term value. Curious about how this shift can benefit your organization?
