Thank you Jennifer Bet-David for having us be apart of celebrating your birthday and being with our loved ones for Valentines! ❤️🍿 Here are a few takeaways from Cabrini: 1. Begin the mission and the means will come 2. We can serve our weaknesses or our purpose, not both 3. There will be a time where you have to face your fears, and lead. Whether the leader is there or not, you must continue the mission 4. We don’t get to choose how we come into the world, but through God he gives us the freedom to choose what we do with it 5. We are bold, or we die 6. If you want to get sh*t done, always go to the decision maker. Find the who to get the how. 7. When you operate like your life is on the line, you can change the world in 2 years. URGENCY AND INTENSITY.

Being authentic matters. Your identity, no matter how different, is your superpower. When you embrace your unique self you can soar.

Our identity is also the fuel to our business and marketing appeal. I can totally relate to the story in this talk. I was told this by someone highly regarded in the business coaching world that my business dreams were unrealistic. Despite years of success as a consultant doing what I was proposing I turn into a bigger business, this coach was a big deal so I took their advice seriously! By allowing my dreams to be derailed and modifying my business offering to fit norms, I held myself back. After hitting road block after road block in my business (over several years) I hit a pretty low point. So low I was considering returning to my 9 to 5 job. I knew I needed to unpack something that was limiting me. But I was so lost I didn't even know who the real me was anymore. I spent months and dug deep. Using tools and strategies I had learnt during my Masters in leadership with others from my past in the theatre, I discovered a framework for revealing one's truth and how to integrate our truths into magnetic business and marketing strategies. I finally had clarity on what to offer, what my difference was, what opportunities to say "yes" or "no" to. The right people starting coming into my life. Aligned partners, team members and clients! I've since used this framework to help dozens of clients re-awaken forgotten truths and honor their identities through their business and marketing strategies. I call the framework True2Brand because that's what are businesses become when we use it. True to Ourselves. When we get back to forgotten elements of who we are, and integrate these elements with our business and marketing strategies, wonderful people, clients, collaborators and opportunities start flowing into our lives! I got inspired by this video, in which the actress America Ferrera (a daughter of immigrants) discusses the importance of owning your story and identity. I found this particularly relevant for job seekers facing challenges such as limited experience, no university degree, being a non-native English speaker, or lacking a technical background...
