T minus 90 days! I am super excited as we get closer to the release of Ravin Jesuthasan, CFA, FRSA and my book - The Skills Powered Organization: The Journey to the Next Generation Enterprise – being published by The MIT Press on 1st October. As the world navigates the rapid and disruptive effects of technologies (including AI), climate change, and geopolitical conflicts, the world of work, too, needs to change. Jobs are giving way to skills as the currency of work to create more agile, resilient, and flexible enterprise that don’t just respond but must thrive in the face of these challenges and opportunities. This pivot from jobs to skills is requiring us to rethink everything we know about work, how it is organised, and how talent is connected to it.
