Rigid Tactical Assists the US Army in Operation Pathways in Strategic Partnership 🚢 Seacor Lee OSV Contracted by U.S. Army for Critical Operations in the Pacific: In a significant development for U.S. military operations in the Pacific region, the Seacor Lee Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) has been contracted by the United States Army to undertake vital cargo and personnel transport duties. The vessel's mission, spanning from April 3rd to June 16th, 2024, will see it traversing from Anacortes, Washington, to key destinations including Japan, the Philippines, Guam, Brunei, and Malaysia. The primary objective of this contract is to facilitate the operational and rehearsal requirements of Operation Pathways 2024, a crucial component of the U.S. Army's strategic engagements in the Asia-Pacific theater. Operational support hubs Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) operations abroad are enabled by operational support hubs (OSH) that exist through a series of pre-negotiated arrangements with partner nations to facilitate the movement of personnel, materiel, equipment and supplies in strategic locations around the world. OSHs: -are not military bases -allow the CAF to move people, materiel, equipment and supplies around the world allow the CAF to respond to crises like natural disasters in a timely way -offer fast, flexible and cost-efficient ways to launch and sustain global operations -can be activated or de-activated as needed

🇺🇦💪 Andriyivka: One City Closer to Liberation In a recent military operation near Bakhmut, Donetsk Region, the russian garrison stationed in Andriyivka village was effectively surrounded, leading to their isolation from their main forces. This operation unfolded rapidly, resulting in the complete encirclement and subsequent neutralization of the ruscists forces. Over two days, the following losses were reported: the commander of the enemy brigade's reconnaissance unit, three combatants, and a significant portion of the 72nd brigade's infantry, including both soldiers and officers, along with a substantial amount of military equipment. The battles in the region continue as Ukrainian military units work to consolidate their positions. While this operation has yielded significant results, it is clear that the war is ongoing, and further engagements are expected in the area. Ask your government to speed up weapons deliveries to stop the genocide of Ukrainians. The ruscists should be held accountable for their crimes. This sketch was during a section assault by brand new Ukrainian recruits. They bounded forward by group supporting one another with suppressing fire. The soldier nearest me repeated the same position over and over, so I walked along and drew, catching the position of repose each time.   Day three of my time with Canadian Forces in their 16th rotation of the Operation (Op) UNIFIER program. Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) soldiers are somewhere in the UK receiving instruction from training teams of the 3rd Battalion of The Royal Canadian Regiment (3RCR). Op UNIFIER, which launched in 2015 after the Russian invasion of Crimea, has trained around 40,000 Ukrainian military and security personnel in battlefield tactics and advanced military skills since inception. In this rotation each of the Canadian training teams each instruct groups of around 200 AFU recruits during each training serial. With each serial lasting approximately five weeks. This training provides critical and immediately required individual skills to new Ukrainian recruits. My role as I see it is to try and capture this all both historically and artistically. And there is no mistaking the historical and essential nature of this training. The skills imparted to the new recruits are the result of lessons hard learned by Canadians, in their own recent conflicts, and by the realities of the fight on the front lines in Ukraine by the AFU. The Canadians role is to help produce fighting men and women able to function wherever they are required on a lethal modern battlefield. Day three of my time with Canadian Forces in their 16th rotation of the Operation (Op) UNIFIER program. Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) soldiers are somewhere in the UK receiving instruction from training teams of the 3rd Battalion of The Royal Canadian Regiment (3RCR).   This sketch is a larger piece showing a Canadian instructor pausing an assault drill to put Ukrainian recruits straight on how to assault fixed positions while limiting exposure to enemy fire. The Canadian instructor imparts everything through an interpreter who never leaves his side. It was sheeting rain through this entire day. I’ll be producing a number of larger pieces like this throughout my time here. The Army is requesting $6.6 million in research-and-development funds for a new theater-level signals intelligence system, according to recently released budget documents. A new start program for fiscal 2025, the Theater SIGINT System (TSIGS) is aimed at providing integrated signals intelligence capabilities to support multi-domain operations, force protection and information superiority for Army service component commands and combatant commands. According to budget documents, it will equip military intelligence brigades with “non-persistent mobile capabilities, persistent static capabilities, and portable survey capabilities to their subordinate formations.” https://lnkd.in/ed3eEHW8

Masking is the full-spectrum, Multi-Domain effort to DECEIVE enemy sensors and DISRUPT enemy targeting. We need to embrace masking in all our military operations. The Ukrainians are attempting to do this in the thermal spectrum with this new thermal camouflage. Unit commanders in the US Army and Marines should experiment with this kind of masking and always know how their forces look like from above and on the ground in the thermal spectrum. HII awarded $197 million contract to support joint force readiness HII announced that its Mission Technologies division was awarded a $197 million recompete task order contract to conduct research and development for the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE), which blends live and virtual training into a single synthetic environment that enables joint force readiness. Administered by the Joint Staff J7, Deputy Director of Joint Training, HII will develop, maintain, support and provide joint training in a synthetic environment across combatant commands, military service branches, federal agencies, academia, industry and multi-national partners. #GovtOfIndia notifies the Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control & Discipline) Act for enforcement with immediate effect. This clears the way for the creation of the long-pending Integrated #TheatreCommands (ITCs) that will bring more efficiency & jointness to the operations of all the 3 wings of the #IndianArmedForces. Until now, military personnel were governed by the respective service acts. Now, the ISO Act empowers #triservices military commanders with full administrative and disciplinary powers over the Army, Navy & IAF personnel serving under them without disturbing the unique service conditions of each individual service. This huge #MilitaryReform, employing resource optimization and strategic planning, will greatly boost the Indian Armed Forces’ offensive-defensive capabilities. It will also establish better #CommandAndControl structures, greatly augmenting #IndianMilitary prowess. #NewIndia
