This is about hate.
This is about fear.
"Because we're Jewish." #antisemitism#Jewish#hate
The subway stint, continued vandalism against Jewish businesses, and verbalized threats resemble an eerily similar version of a modern day KKK.
These people are fueled by intolerance that mirrors 1930s Germany and the Deep American South 75-100 years ago (being generous, here). The only differences I see, here, are different colored clothing and levels of misinformation being spread faster than any other time in history.
Same scare tactics.
Same hate.
Same lack of empathy.
Broad strokes and thick paintbrushes don't create intolerance; they are homegrown.
As ADL’s Oren Segal told CNN, we have now “moved well beyond protests of a war to people targeting individuals at their home” and to very serious daily threats against Jews and Zionists. We must ALL speak out against this intimidation and violent antisemitic rhetoric.
