We are looking for strong candidates who have experience managing a budget of $5M-$10M, financial modeling and scenario planning, tracking diverse revenue streams including investments, and has the skills to create an infrastructure for a growing budget with a lean team. Happy Juneteenth, everyone! One of the ways we’re celebrating Juneteenth is by reflecting on our impact and acknowledging the work ahead needed to ensure our community has access to economic freedom. Everyday at The Knowledge House we provide educational opportunities that lead to economic mobility. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of leading a conversation about Juneteenth with the ElleMH ERG group at Moët Hennessy! I’m excited to be in good company with leaders like Dr. Tarika Barrett, Ph.D. of Girls Who Code to share my vision for a more equitable tech future, including how AI is accessible to the masses. Check out our op-ed in amNY Newspaper about the importance of New York’s #EmpireAI initiative. For the next few days I’m at ASU+GSV Summit networking and learning everything I can about AI. I’ve spent all morning at the first ever ASU+GSV AIR Show and am so inspired by the innovation around me. The technology landscape looked very different when I co-founded The Knowledge House ten years ago. With the emergence of AI, we are firm in our commitment to ensure that low-income communities have the training and support to keep pace with innovation. I’m proud of the ways my team is integrating AI into our programs and building for the future, especially our AI-working group led by board members and advisors like Matthew Newton, Ankur Crawford, Sidney Hori Hawthorne, Michael Zuckert, and Ryan Daley.
