Cardiologist, Founder, CEO at Heartbeat Health

I wrote this piece about what the Digital Health can learn from Big Pharma. No matter what your viewpoint on the pharmaceutical industry, one thing is true — it does world-class and world-changing science. And it does it in a systematic, rigorous, repeatable process. Digital health has made so much progress, but until we bring this same level or rigor, we’ll land shy of their scale and impact. https://lnkd.in/ekYedXKE

Resonates with me. I often ask, are we going to be more like the pharma industry or the supplement industry?

This is very insightful Jeffrey Wessler. Added to the lack of clinical trials is that there is a rush by developers who were never involved in clinical operations to provide healthcare solutions. #healthcareleadership

Cannot agree more with you Jeffrey Wessler - it's all noise without this...

I appreciated the comparison of the Silicon Valley's process to bring products to Big Pharma. Yes. Digital Health does belong in the Big Pharma lane as far as testing goes. Thank you.

Insightful comparison here, Jeffrey Wessler. Also, really respect the transparency when you said you wish you would have done more research earlier on. Sounds like Heartbeat Health is investing a lot in it though. Congrats!
