* It was my pleasure to support the design and implementation of the Supportive supervision on 100 PHC facilities in Gazira, Sudan. The mission included, supervision on the availability of essential PHC services, Orientation of medical providers about updated case management guidelines of Malaria, Cholera and Dengue Fever , handover of 600 health promotion posters in addition to conduction of dialogues with 10 selected communities in the state. Insulin pens cause less discomfort than traditional injections, make it easier to measure accurate doses, can be used more discreetly, and take up less space and are safer from breakage for people on the move in humanitarian crises. India has sent medical and material assistance to Zambia to help the country deal with a deadly cholera outbreak. The aid includes 3.5 tonnes of water purification supplies, chlorine ts, and ORS sachets. The outbreak has prompted the closure of schools in Zambia, and public institutions have put in place handwash facilities to prevent the spread of the disease. The outbreak, which began in the Zambian capital region, has claimed around 333 lives by early January 2024.
