“The air we breathe is often toxic, and it's making many of our citizens sick. But I refuse to accept this as our reality,” says Irma, 19, from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Determined to make a change, Irma is leading the charge for clean air by planting trees, holding workshops in schools, and demanding action from local leaders.

Hurricane Beryl has wreaked havoc across countries in the Caribbean. Children are returning to homes with no roof or significant damage, like these families in Grenada. UNICEF and partners are supporting with life-saving supplies in several countries in the Caribbean Basin, including medical and educational kits, water, sanitation and hygiene supplies and high-quality tents. Countries in the Caribbean are particularly vulnerable to climate shocks due to their small size and extreme exposure to natural hazards, and the effects of climate change. #ClimateAction is critical now for children.
