Yesterday's Women in Leadership Luncheon was a wonderful gathering of InterCommunity's female leaders. The participants appreciated this opportunity to discuss the issues that are on their minds and hearts. They said that they see the benefits of having leaders who are licensed clinicians and business experts running the organization, and this balance of being client-centric and business-minded is what distinguishes InterCommunity from many healthcare organizations. Finally, the group noted that it is wonderful to work for an agency that demonstrates the same compassionate care for staff as they do for clients in their personal and professional lives.
