iRISE - Inspiring India in Research, Innovation and STEM Education Programme’s Post

A glimpse from the 3-Day "Capacity Building Workshop for Early Career Researchers" hosted by GITAM Deemed University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh under the auspices of the Early Career Researcher's Development (ECR) Strand of iRISE - Inspiring India in Research, Innovation and STEM Education Programme initiative. Ms. Anita Nagarajan, a Communications and Editing Consultant and Educator, led a session on effective presentation design and delivery. Participants learned key steps for creating compelling presentations and engaged in group activities to develop and refine their outlines. They explored techniques for engaging their audience and customizing presentations for different environments. The session concluded with a "Walk the Talk" contest, where participants delivered their final presentations and received constructive feedback. This interactive approach ensured practical application of the concepts, enhancing participants' presentation skills.
