We were preparing our next feature for later today, but decided to shift gears after seeing several posts these past few days where leaders we care about are receiving unwarranted and unsolicited insults on their social media accounts. Not only is rudeness a weak imitation of strength, but it's particularly important to shake off negativity and reclaim our sense of peace by removing center stage from those who lower their own bars and won't do better. The Power of Community and Connection 🌟 Today was the start of something I have been seeking for awhile and wanted to amplify. The Radiant Leader is a community Jen Porter, Certified Leadership Coach, CPC, PCC cultivated for women focusing on spiritual leadership and the power of living in faith and purpose. Recognizing Privilege: A Call to Action In our professional lives, privilege is an often unseen thread that weaves through our experiences. I am on a personal journey, acknowledging the privilege that has brought me here. As an action-oriented leader, I focus on understanding how to reach and uplift others. In Hidden Potential, Adam Grant articulates: "The true measure of your potential is not the height of the peak you have reached, but how far you climbed to get there." Take a moment to observe those around you, notice their ascent and determination, and consider how you can support their climb. Each of us is scaling a different peak, facing unique challenges. If you stand on a plateau of privilege, ACT! Extend a hand, offer a foothold, and share your resources.
