🥳 At #Innosea, we are continuing our #INWED24 celebrations by spotlighting more of our fantastic #WomenEngineers that are at the heart of everything we do! 🥳 Meet Clémentine Girandier 👋 Clementine is a specialist engineer working for Innosea, a part of OWC, for nearly ten years! She is based at our French offices in Nantes primarily as part of our research and development (R&D) team. Her experience with Innosea has seen her undertake a number of a varied projects supporting #Innovation in France's #OffshoreWind, including: ➕ Load Calculation for Fixed and Offshore Wind 📝 Modelling of Wind Turbines (Bladed, Orcaflex, OpenFAST) ⚙️ Development of New Tools Clementine is eager to encourage more young girls to pursue their interest in combatting climate change through engineering telling us: 🗣️ "Through Innosea, I am part of the association Capital Filles. The idea is to empower school-aged girls and give them the confidence and support to apply to higher education and universities. It's not only for science and engineering, but it is a good way to show to girls that women can work in any areas, especially engineering. I am really pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of such a scheme!" 🔗 At OWC we share a commitment to our people and technical excellence. One of the many ways in which we try to drive the sustainability in #EnergyandOceans, is to support diversity initiatives that will bolster our STEM and engineering talent pools for the future of our industries ⚡🚀 🔗If you'd like to read Clementine's Q&A in full: https://lnkd.in/egyEUZ8Q 🔗Catch our team at this week's SEANERGY BY BLUESIGN #Seanergy2024 at 📍 Booth D17: https://lnkd.in/e7pv-TrX #OWCFrance #Innosea #TheRenewableEnergyConsultants
