☀️ As many of our colleagues enjoy their well deserved summer break, it's been a great time to reflect on all the exciting projects and events we have been a part of this year! ☀️ At the end of June, #Innosea, an #OWC company, attended the wrap-up session for #TrustPV, a flagship project to develop innovation in the field of #SolarPV performance and reliability. This week-long event was part of the final "General Assembly and Green Training Week" in Rome, organised by BayWa r.e. EMEA. ⚡🌍 It was a brilliant opportunity to network and discover the latest solar technologies that are redefining industry standards! Throughout the week our colleagues had the opportunity to, 🗣️ Organise Panel Sessions 💡 Present on the Projects' Results 👷♂️ Hold on-site Demonstrations 🏭 Visit Solar PV Plant under the Management of BayWa r.e. Richard Le Failler, an Innosea Senior Offshore Engineer, presented during the event, to spotlight some results from the past 4-year #Horizon2020-funded project. Highlighting, operation and maintenance challenges (O&M) related to #FloatingSolar, along with the instrumentation program performed on two floating solar farms in France. Results of this monitoring experience including both mechanical and power performance will be published soon at the end of August! If you'd like to keep up to date with all of the fantastic work our team at #Innosea does, follow the link below to stay in the loop! 👇 🔗https://lnkd.in/eaa4U_nX #Innosea #OWC #ABLGroup #TheRenewableEnergyConsultants #OneTeam

July has been a fantastic month for ABL Group filled with celebrations, networking and most importantly, the sun! ☀️. Here are some of the standout moments from what I like to call month of socials ✨ 💫Resourcing teams from #RossOffshore and #AGR met at our Sandefjord office for a collaborative session. This gathering allowed team members to get to know each other better, share success stories and plan future collaborations as #oneteam 😊 ✈️ Stephen Craig, ABL Group Rig Ops and Marine Manager to ABL Malaysia, VA Mathew, were hosted by #ABLIndonesia earlier in the month, the crew had an amazing dinner with a table-side service, where they crafted an 'I 💓 ABL' masterpiece with their meal 🐘 The #INNOSEA team enjoyed a summer gathering near their office at Île de Nantes. The day was spent basking in the sun and exploring local attractions, including the famous Elephant from Nantes and the tourist hotspot Grue Jaune – aka the yellow crane 🏗️ 📈#OWC Brighton office played host to a renewable energy networking summer event, providing the opportunity for clients to meet with colleagues from all around the globe and engage in strategic discussions and networking. 🌞The #RossOffshore Bergen office had a fantastic summer party filled with fun and team bonding🏄♂️. Meanwhile, the #RossOffshore Stavenger team suited up and hit the waves for their summer party – Bergen brought chill while Stavenger brought thrill! 😎 🏃♀️➡️ Our ABL Group London team participated in their third J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, creating unforgettable memories. This year, 35 enthusiastic team members travelled to Battersea Park, enjoying the sunny weather and a scenic Uber boat ride from Tower Pier 🚤 🖼️ During the #ABLGroupAmericas Regional Finance meeting, attendees unleashed their inner artists at a 'Sip and Paint' team-building event in Houston. Finance Managers and teams from US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil had an amazing time creating their artwork – it's giving Da vin ci 🎨 🍽️ The structural team at #INNOSEA celebrated their big win with a complimentary vegetarian feast in Nantes! 🎉 After a friendly competition to see which team could cut down on high-carbon-footprint foods, they learned just how much their diet impacts the environment. Cheers to delicious eco-friendly victories 🌱🌍 And that's a wrap for the month! Time flies when you're having fun. We can't wait to see the exciting moments August has for us. Until then, see you next month 👋

🌍 At #Innosea, we understand the important role that the energy sector plays in combatting climate change, with our teams enthusiastically committed to helping ensure a more sustainable future. We are investing heavily in climate change adaptations, helping clients to de-risk their work across energy and oceans! 🌍 To better reflect this ethos and deepen the understanding of our individual carbon impact, our teams regularly participate in initiatives that aim to spotlight simple ways we can make a big difference! 💪 🥦 Food Challenge 2023 🥦 Throughout last year, our teams learned about the significance that diet can have on the environment and competed to see which team could limit foods with a higher carbon footprint. Our structural team came out on top and were recently treated to a complimentary vegetarian meal at a local Nantes restaurant to celebrate their win. 🚲 Mai à Vélo 🚲 Innosea also participated in a challenge, "Mai à vélo" (May by Bike) via a French mobile app, Geovelo. The goal of which was to have different environmentally conscience companies compete head-to-head to see which could record the most distance travelled by bike, with both commuting and personal journeys accounted for. The results were, 🏁 1,432 km Distance Recorded 🥈 A Second Tier Finish 🚲 The Data Recorded has Allowed 40 Cities to Plan Improved Bike Lanes ♻️ For Every km Cycled 218g of Co2 Reduced 🧠 Improves Fitness, Stress Management, and Improve Sleep As an #OWC company, we are very proud of our reputation as expert pioneers of the renewable energy sector. We will continue to raise awareness for sustainability, particularly through our Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRAs) services and Tailored Assessment Reports. Despite ongoing uncertainty, we understand that our experience of successfully delivering greener alternatives to our clients, can help fuel a global energy transition! 📢 Innosea has authored a new paper on shared anchors and mooring lines for floating wind turbine farms, following insights heard at the EERA DeepWind 2023 conference in Trondheim, Norway. Check it out 👀👇🏼 Read the paper 💻 https://lnkd.in/e83pKfsu Our Maxime Chemineau, Florian Castillo, Valentin Arramounet, Jean-Christophe Gilloteaux and Longitude Engineering's Lucas Mechinaud, each contributed to the research, which focuses on innovative mooring layouts using shared anchors and shared mooring lines 🔗 Results of the technical studies show that 👇🏼 ✳Shared anchor layouts are technically feasible, but do not improve the mooring system procurement costs due to the spacing constraint between each turbine. ✳ Sharing mooring lines at the farm level seems more promising due to the decrease in the amount of material used. This research is funded by the Horizon H2020 project Corewind, grant number 815083. The project focuses on cost reduction of floating wind technology through research and optimization of the mooring and anchoring systems, dynamic cables, as well as the improvement of installation, operation and maintenance activities.
