DYK? July 4 consistently ranks as the deadliest single day of the year on U.S. roads. 📈 During 2018-22, an average of 143 people lost their lives in crashes on July 4. That's 35 more than an average day. 🍻 Alcohol impairment factored into nearly half of these crash deaths 🏍️ Motorcyclists accounted for about a fifth of those deaths ℹ️ As with any day, you can protect yourself on the roads by watching your speed, not driving distracted or impaired, and buckling up or wearing your motorcycle helmet for every trip. 🇺🇸 Have a happy and safe Independence Day!

1wSorry, this vehicle does not meet my motor vehicle open vehicle door safety standards in the prevention of open vehicle door collisions and pedestrian accident prevention of a person or persons outside a open vehicle door to be seen and provide added time to provide a VISUAL WARNING TO VEHICLE DRIVERS to allow accident prevention to occur. Sorry, to disallow a visual warning is a contributing factor in not preventing of open vehicle door collisions and fatalities is not acceptable. It is time to add a *Zone of Illumination to the lower interior door edge to allow a visual warning illuminated by another vehicle drivers headlights. Cost of application per vehicle door only three dollars on this vehicle starting a price of over $36,000. Friends, the now over 3,000 lives lost a day globally to motor vehicle accidents has a price to fix it. An added Zone of Illumination can contribute in the prevention of open vehicle door collisions and fatalities that warrants a US and Global new motor vehicle safety standard without a undo cost burden. Please support it. *US Patented and Petitioned to become an addition to FMVSS No. 108
