Happy International Kissing Day! Did you know that kissing involves as many as 34 facial muscles and 112 postural muscles? It also triggers a cascade of of biological responses in our bodies. When we kiss, our brains release a cocktail of chemicals like dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin, which boost our mood, deepen our bonds, and even reduce stress. But kissing isn't just about emotional and chemical reactions - it's also about the sensory experience. The touch of lips, the warmth, and the subtle pressure all contribute to a haptic experience that our brains process. That brings us to an exciting parallel: the haptic sensation you get from touching a finely embellished product. When you run your fingers over it, you experience a tactile response similar to the one your body feels during a kiss. The sample featured below perfectly captures the essence of a kiss. Sealife Meets MCUBE: A Stunning Fusion of Embossing and Digital Print We are excited to present our latest collaboration with our sister company, MPRINT which reinterprets our "Sealife" poster in a new format. The award winning poster design was transformed into a new maritime environment. The seahorse head is exquisitely blind embossed on a blank sheet, and then MPRINT's brandnew MCUBE 4C-360 adds its magic, completing the design with full colour digital print. Including variable data such as date and time. This project showcases the remarkable strength of the combined expertise and innovative spirit in the LEONHARD KURZ group.
