No child should go hungry, yet 13 million kids in the US live in households where they don’t have enough food to lead a healthy life. During the summer, this issue only gets more urgent, when millions of kids lose access to the meals they receive at school. In fact, according to our research, 4 in 10 US parents struggle to provide food for their kids during school breaks. At #HelloFresh, we’re on a mission to change the way people eat forever—that includes ensuring access to food for all, all year round. That’s why we’re partnering with No Kid Hungry, a campaign through Share Our Strength,  to support their mission of making sure every kid gets three meals a day, 365 days a year. We are kicking off our partnership with 13 for 13 Million, a joint campaign aimed at filling the summer hunger gap and raising awareness of childhood food insecurity and its effect on 13 million kids nationwide. Through pop-up food pantries, meal distribution events, and our LimeAid program, we’re lightening the load for families across the country.
