Last week, our FreshVets ERG recognised Armed Forces Week in the UK. 10 million meals! That is how much surplus food HelloFresh has donated to The Felix Project since becoming a partner in 2017. Can you believe that? As Hello Fresh's official charity partner, we've been helping them reduce their food waste by taking their surplus food and distributing it across every borough in London to people who need it. We can't tackle hunger in our communities alone, and to be able to build a partnership on shared beliefs that no one should go hungry and no good food should go to waste is invaluable in this fight. 10 million meals!! That’s how much HelloFresh UK has donated to The Felix Project since our partnership began in 2017. Over the last 7 years, we’ve been working with our official charity partner to reduce food waste and food insecurity across Greater London. And what an amazing milestone we’ve achieved! We must also extend our thanks to our customers in the UK, who have helped raise over £120,000 since 2020, when we launched a charitable giving option to our recipe boxes.
