Last summer I shared here on LinkedIn about how ChatGPT assisted me in planning a family trip to Switzerland & Italy (it performed pretty good, all considered). Now Google has introduced a similar yet enhanced feature. New updates: 🛫 Google introduces new AI-driven tools in Search to assist travelers in trip planning. This feature offers suggested itineraries, hotel and flight options, as well as recommendations for attractions and dining. Notably, the results are ad-free for now. 🗺 Google enhances Maps functionality by providing curated lists of recommendations for cities in the U.S. and Canada. Users can now discover trending, top, or hidden gem restaurants in over 40 cities. 📱 Additionally, Maps will soon allow global users to customize their lists, organize them chronologically, and link social media content like restaurant reviews to saved locations.
