We’re excited to share that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed into legislation Monday a bill that now allows EMCs that own natural gas providers to boost their level of investment in those companies from 15% to 25%. This bodes well for Gas South, as we’re wholly owned by Cobb EMC. The additional investment from them helps us limit the amount of money we need to borrow and makes it easier and faster to pursue opportunities to grow.

Today, our team ended the week with a bang at the Child Center for Early Learning (SWAG) Field Day! We had some much fun doing activities with the kiddos. We also had another crew at the Ronald McDonald House cleaning rooms. It's safe to say Corporate Volunteer Week in Gainesville was a blast! Although the official weeks are over, Gas South will continue to serve others in our communities.
