Earlier this week, I had the chance to join the Verizon Business team on the show floor at the National Retail Federation's 2024 Big Show in New York City. Our booth was a showcase of real-world use cases of #5G from operational efficiencies to customization for shoppers. The three big trends from NRF were: 1. Personalized experience in the store for customers. Leveraging data and #AI to create moments that matter as soon as every customer enters the door. 2. Digital marketing in the store for retailers...the true convergence of the physical and digital world, all in service of creating a better customer experience. 3. Technological efficiencies that create operational experiences, such as autonomous robots in a warehouse, real-time inventory management, and increased video surveillance which create actionable insights that help address major issues for retailers such as shrinkage. There is one common denominator to all three of these trends...the network. They are all supported by real-time actions, which aren't possible without a network like Verizon's 5G network, that can gather, process, and create actionable insights.
