This will be my first time attending the long-awaited National Reckon Partner Conference. I've heard plenty of times from our many long-standing partners that they have the greatest time at these events, and everyone has their own interesting experience (or wild story) to share from them. Not only am I thrilled to be a part of this event, to engage and be inspired, but I will be amongst many Reckon speakers showcasing our journey so far, as well as sharing news on our exciting future roadmap. One thing that Reckon has always been great at, is maintaining strong relationships with our Partners. So I very much look forward to getting up close and personal with everyone, seeing familiar faces once again and finally meeting some partners for the first time. Appreciate my team at Reckon for this spotlight feature. It really has been a journey going from the hospitality industry to the cloud-tech world. I've had many mentors and leaders, and been imparted plenty wisdom from all sorts of amazing and interesting people along the way. Just a bit of a team appreciation post. March was a super busy month for Reckon. The team traveled all over Australia (from Tropical North QLD to Perth WA) to attend the various industry events we support - Institute of Public Accountants, The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, Accountex Australia It was great to be at these conferences, not only to showcase some of the awesome new software features and functionality Reckon is releasing this year, but it was especially amazing just to be able to connect with new partners and existing ones where we don't necessarily talk shop - we're genuinely getting to know people more personally and their business more intimately. For some of my team as well, it was their first time speaking at a conference. I often remind them that even now I still get a bit nervous with public speaking. But these travel opportunities provided new experiences for everyone and I couldn't be prouder of their results. Reckon is always about people first - in the company and within our partner and client network. And we have plenty we're excited to share still. So stay tuned! Or better yet, connect with us!
