Last week, I had the incredible privilege to participate in the FMI- The Food Industry Association Supplier Diversity Retreat meeting, hosted by the amazing team at Meijer in Grand Rapids! This dynamic and engaging group is full of passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference in the communities they serve, especially when supporting diverse suppliers in the food industry. The energy and commitment to diversity were truly inspiring. We met powerhouse vendors from Lola's Fine Hot Sauce, The Only Bean, Pochis Columbian Restaurant & Cafe, Mr. Leslie's Cheesecakes, and Sonarani Foods.
