I stand at the threshold of a significant personal milestone. April 30th marked the conclusion of my 38-year journey with Unifeeder A/S. It has been an honor to be part of the company’s evolution and to have shared in the transformative years of the industry. From different ownership structures including private, private equity (twice), and now DPW, to the geographical expansion over the years, I take pride in our collective achievements and the results we have accomplished. The challenge of cultivating business in new ports, countries, and regions with diverse cultures has been immensely gratifying. Since early 2023, my focus has been on establishing our new Americas division, which has showcased our collective capabilities and the fruits of our united efforts. The relationships and partnerships cultivated with business partners and team members have been the foundation of my professional existence. As I venture into this next phase, I eagerly anticipate spending more time with family and friends and engaging in personal interests that have awaited my attention. My passion for transport, shipping, and international trade will not disappear with my retirement from Unifeeder. Dear Erik, though little more than 4 years since first introduced to you and the Unifeeder organisation, it has been a real pleasure to have met and supported such a genuine, good natured, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaged professional. You are clearly highly respected in the industry by colleagues and customers alike and your advice and experience will undoubtedly be missed by many. I wish you everything you wish for yourself (especially good health and happiness) in this new chapter. Let’s keep in touch and for sure met up if you come to visit the Emerald Isle in the future.

Remember the earliest days! You have indeed had a long and fruitful journey in international shipping and transport with Unifeeder.
