Currently, 64 individuals are hospitalized in Kyiv, 28 in Kryvyi Rih, and 6 in Dnipro. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this act of terror. In Kyiv, three hospitals were affected: ๐ข๐ต๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ฑ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป'๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฝ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น, as well as the ๐๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ and ๐๐๐ข๐ก๐๐ฆ Hospitals. Doctors are completing surgeries in partially destroyed operating rooms, and children are being evacuated to other hospitals across our country. At the same time, we are grateful for all the people who have united and supported the hospitals with their collective efforts. Businesses are donating large sums for reconstruction, and ordinary people are bringing necessary supplies and assisting in clearing the debris. Eternal memory to the victims of the terror attack! ๐๐ผ Eirhub Team

On Monday russia deliberately targeted the Okhmatdyt - the largest specialized children's hospital in Ukraine. This tells much more about russia's real "culture" & "values" than anything else. Okhmatdyt is one of very few or [for some cases] even the only medical center in Ukraine capable of providing specialized diagnostics and treatment to children with severe and/or rare conditions. It has a very professional medical team, modern equipment, and nationwide importance. Now the hospital needs a lot of support. They have their own Charitable Organization "Charitable Foundation "Ohmatdit - is healthy childhood" (ะะปะฐะณะพะดัะนะฝะฐ ะัะณะฐะฝัะทะฐััั "ะะปะฐะณะพะดัะนะฝะธะน ะคะพะฝะด "ะั ะผะฐัะดะธั - ะทะดะพัะพะฒะต ะดะธัะธะฝััะฒะพ") where you can make a charitable donation: https://lnkd.in/ecPhKMtr And no, it is not "putin's war", it is russia's war because many ordinary russians were involved in preparation and carrying out this strike: those who issued the order, those who selected coordinates, those who programmed missiles, those who maintained the carrier, those who piloted an aircraft and pressed the button. Many of these russians have their own families and children, and live "normal life". For them, war is just some kind of work. Even more - at least a part of russian population seems to be happy with war and with all the russian war crimes & atrocities in Ukraine. Ukrainian children have the very same rights for life, safety, medical treatment, etc as all the others. However, russia not only violated all these rights, russia kills Ukrainian children & their parents every day. There is only one way to stop this - russia must be defeated, demilitarized, and held accountable for its crimes.
On the morning of July 8, a russian missile struck Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. So far, more than 20 people have been injured; 7 of them children. 2 adults, including an Okhmatdyt doctor, were killed. Rescuers, together with Kyiv residents, continue to clear the rubble. Okhmatdyt is the largest children's hospital in Ukraine, annually treating more than 20,000 children from all over the country. The missile completely destroyed the operating rooms, entire toxicology wing, and life-saving equipment. Other buildings were also damaged. The children have been evacuated to other hospitals. Our goal is to help Okhmatdyt recover. To save children again. To give them hope. russia is targeting the most innocent and vulnerable โ help us protect the future of Ukraine in the aftermath of this war crime. UNITED24 and monobank launch a fundraiser for 100 million UAH to support Okhmadyt Children's Hospital. Every donation matters โ join in! https://lnkd.in/eMuae3qg

Worldmaker Statement on the Hamas Attack in Israel Dear friends and colleagues, We are saddened and horrified by the heinous acts perpetrated on Israel by the terrorist organization Hamas. Hundreds of innocent lives have been lost, thousands of people injured, and a significant number of Israelis and others, including women, elderly and children, are being held captive. These losses include 29 Americans killed with additional citizens being held hostage. Our heartfelt condolences are with all grieving families. As an organization dedicated to promoting a world that stands for the safety, dignity and freedom of all people, we condemn any form of hatred or violence. A decade ago, in the early days of our community resilience and worldmaking charitable work, I led a team to Israel to learn from their innovative methods of proactively building community safety nets and providing psychological and logistical support in times of crisis. Today, these initiatives are tending to the injured and assisting both civilians and military families as they deal with extreme psychological trauma. What we learned in Israel, we have seen play out in communities around the world: The best measure of how an individual and community does in the aftermath of crisis is how well they were tending to relationships and well-being the day before the crisis. We say this with deep gratitude and humility to all our partners in Israel, the U.S. and abroad who have dedicated their careers to preparing for this type of crisis, even though in many ways the vastness of this violence remains unfathomable: Worldmaker is committed to continue working alongside you to support victims' families, survivors, first responders, and all those touched by these acts of terrorism in the months and years to come. Our dedicated team remains available for assistance as we stand steadfast in our mission to collectively make a better world for all. In peace and healing, Mollie Marti and Team Worldmaker Access the statement directly on Worldmaker's website by following this link: https://lnkd.in/gQ7GUmtz

I will #NeverForget 9/11, and now 10/7 and 10/8 will join that day and live on in infamy. As I sit here 5,000 miles away, I can't help but feel two things: (1) complete awe at my incredible Israeli friends and colleagues' resolute courage and (2) powerless at my inability to do more for them. These are some of the smartest, hardest-working, and kindest people I've worked with in my career. Friends, know that we are with you, and we are sending wishes for your freedom and safety. To combat that helplessness, I've donated to organizations supporting Israeli citizens through these horrific terrorist attacks and war. Here are just a few that I've found: 1. The Jewish National Fund USA is raising money to support the evacuation of those in the hardest-hit border communities with transportation, housing, hygiene kits, bedding, and other necessities. (link below) 2. The American Friends of Magen David Adom ensures that the country's paramedics, EMTs, first responders, and first-aid volunteers have the necessary training, equipment, and medical supplies. https://afmda.org/ 3. The Jewish Agency for Israel's Fund for Victims of Terror acts as a first responder during terror attacks, providing immediate assistance to victims and subsequent long-term rehabilitative support. https://lnkd.in/g8Z3EPDs

We are almost two years into the war in Ukraine, and the situation on the ground for civilians is getting worse... In the past few weeks, Russian attacks have increased significantly, including what CNN called "the heaviest night of missile strikes since the war began." A recent air strike on Kyiv killed 33 civilians while destroying 100 homes and dozens of apartment buildings. I never imagined Mercy Chefs would still be on the ground in Ukraine nearly two years after the fighting began. But we are here, and thousands of families caught in the crossfire of this war rely on Mercy Chefs for meals to help them make it through another day. We can't walk away from these folks who have already suffered so much. As I've been sharing with you this week, our main transport truck that delivers hot meals to families living near the frontlines urgently needs repairs. In all, we need about $25,000 above and beyond our normal Ukraine support to make sure our team is fully operational. I really want to meet this need by the end of the weekend Would you prayerfully consider making a one-time gift of $50 or even $100 so we can equip our team and keep this lifeline of hot meals and hope going? Go here to make your special Ukraine relief gift: It's snowing across much of Ukraine. Temperatures will be below freezing for the next several days. And the attacks are increasing. Quite frankly, we never asked for this mission. But we are here. Mercy Chefs has provided millions of meals. Our kitchen is feeding families on the frontlines of this war. We can't stop. But we need YOUR help! MercyChefs.com is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing hot meals to victims and volunteers in disaster and other desperate situations. Our simple mission to "just go feed people" is only possible through the generous support of friends like you. Do not reply to this email. The inbox is no monitored. For questions, go here. Please donate whatever you can spare to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation today: https://lnkd.in/dkQ8_cQC "First, the area where most of our rescues are currently needed - northern Myanmar - has descended into a conflict zone. Myanmarโs military and the various rebel groups are essentially at war with each other. Because there is so much conflict in our world right now, this is barely making the news. But for people who are enslaved in this area and cannot escape, this increase in life-threatening violence means a new wave of terror in addition to the brutality they already face daily. Second, Blue Dragon has credible information that traffickers are harvesting human organs from their victims. Some people are being trafficked specifically for their organs, while others are having their internal body parts removed after theyโve been sold and exploited for other purposes. You might have heard about organ trafficking, but in reality it is relatively rare. This horrific form of exploitation, which leaves its victims either with debilitating illness or dead, is now on the rise and being used against victims of human trafficking."

a fund raising that i know for sure will get to a good cause and be used well
It has been six days now. Yesterday had a little breakdown. My little one asked, 'Why do you cry, mama?' and 'Don't worry mama we have a strong country everyone will be okay'. I took them thousands of miles across the planet to keep them away from this. But being Jewish and Israeli doesn't just go away. It is who we are. Her friend L hugged her, and another friend S asked her how she was doing and about the fighting in Israel. Neither one is Israeli or Jewish. Children of the world. I will always stand With children. For children. All children. Children are our future and our hope. https://lnkd.in/g9keFBze To help Israeli families in these challenging times, my friend Yael Turok and I are organizing a relief fund. Donations go to a variety of registered charities. Please help by sharing and or donating. Any amount welcome

I donโt ask for much, but today Iโm politely asking if you can please sponsor our #fundraiser for desperate people in Ukraine. Next week, myself and two colleagues, all of us military #veterans, will be sleeping outside in #Kyiv for two-nights to signify the two-year anniversary of #Russia invading #Ukraine. From the 23rd to 25th of February, this experience will serve to raise awareness of the struggles that thousands of civilians continue to face by being forced from their homes, in the dead of night, in below freezing temperatures. We are raising money via a #GoFundMe page. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to REACT Disaster Response and will be used toward helping the most vulnerable and desperate people in Ukraine. Our boots on the ground approach makes us passionate about our chosen CSR strategies and amidst all the main stream and social media noise; #Russia invaded Ukraine in the early hours of February 24th, 2022 while millions of innocent people slept soundly in their beds. The Ukrainian people have been at war, defending their homeland now for two years without pause! Within 36-hours of the invasion, Inherent Risks deployed to Ukraine to conduct emergency evacuations. We have been in the country ever since providing emergency medical evacuation, crisis response and #insurance risk advisory support to journalists, NGOs, war crimes investigators and visiting dignitaries. We also made a promise when we first arrived to do as much good as possible, and with this initiative we are just continuing on that promise.
