Cataract 😩😩😤😢 - Health Journey of an Accidental Entrepreneur I wish I can say that I was taking good care of myself. It has been two years since my last eye exam. 😮. I did not even realize it has been two years. How time flies when one is busy with life. Well, the doctor said I have early sign of cataract!🤔🤦♀️😩 I thought cataract only happens to people in their 60s or 70s… 😢 His next question: do you wear sunglasses⁉️ Apparently, that is one of the reason of my cataract. I rarely use sunglasses. I always thought we use sunglasses to look cool.😔 Apparently, using sunglasses help prevent cataract. ( Please don’t laugh if you feel this is general knowledge.) So go buy a pair of good pair of sunglasses for yourself, your kids, your partner, your friend and/or your parents. And don’t get too busy that you forget to get your yearly eye exam. When was your last eye exam? —— On researching on cataracts, I found out that people can start the development of cataract as early as in their 30s esp if one do not wear sunglasses. ——- My consolation prize in the picture: I went shopping for a good pair of sunglass with my best friend Vivian Pham. 😂 When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. 💕💕💕

We get questioned quite often about being mom, being a female CEO, about our age and our ability. What we are asking for is cerebral equality. High Blood Pressure 😱😩 - Journey of an Accidental Entrepreneur On the go all the time because time seems so limited when you are running several companies, have kids, aging parents, passion projects and still want to have fun with friends and family. I always try to collide as much as possible and do a mental check on my activities - is this helpful for Mirapath, Inc. - will this help USPAACC WISE (Women Initiative for Strategic Empowerment) - am I having fun with friends or family Then the doctor told me I have high blood pressure during a health check. ( I have not done one in 2 yrs - bad mistake 😞) And in the same week, 4 friends passed away and one was diagnosed with brain cancer. 😢 Suddenly, my world paused. How do I put “health” routine and fit “health” in my daily hectic life? So far, I have been measuring BP every day, and celery and beets smoothie ( yuck!) in the morning, 10 min stretch, 3 10 min walk outdoor. What do you do to control BP that worked? What do you do to upkeep your health? “You can’t control what you can’t measure. “That is what we talk about in the datacenter space using DCIM. Now, I am doing that with my health. I am hoping to lower my BP through diet and exercise without going on medication. OMRON BP had made this very easy.
