Last week at Cannes, we hosted an intimate luncheon prepared by renowned chef Bruno Oger. Hosted by our CMO Alicia Tillman, influential leaders in marketing and media joined us for an excellent culinary experience and participated in meaningful discussions focused on building deeper connections, transformation and transcendence. Our special guest, Karlie Kloss, shared her inspiring journey from model to tech and media entrepreneur. Her story of following her passions and creating opportunities resonates with our Delta mission—going beyond just travel and truly connecting people to what they love. There’s nothing quite like a father’s love. Just ask Delta First Officer Amanda Vogt’s dad, Jeff. He carved “Fly Delta Jets” into the family’s 900-acre rice farm in Sacramento, California as an homage to his daughter, easily visible to anyone flying over.

For the people who fought or lost loved ones on June 6th, 1944, 80 years ago feels like yesterday. While preparing to return to Normandy to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we uncovered a connection to the history of this day in our own home. Chief Marketing Officer Alicia Tillman and her husband, Bill Tillman, graciously share memories of his grandfather’s legacy, experiences with the 50+ World War II veterans that made the return trip, and warm welcomes from the citizens of France.
