We love to showcase the amazing work our upfitting division does, but oftentimes we show the destination and skip the journey so to speak. Our Burbank crew was slated to build out two vehicles for Simi Valley Water. When we presented the first finished product, the customer was underwhelmed. Determined to exceed expectations, our team revamped the design, adding a Whelen WeCanX 2250 lightbar, a CenCom Core-C control system with WeCanX expansion module, and a Havis angled console for clean mounting of the Core-C and Motorola XTL control head. We also included a Blue Sea Systems distribution block to minimize wire clutter and enhance safety. The lighting system was programmed to the customer's specifications, ensuring every control had a feature and a visual indication of the active setting. The result? The customer was very impressed on the second presentation. Our Burbank upfit crew is now busy proceeding with the second vehicle build. Satisfied customers are what we aim for. 🎯 #BurbankCA #vehicleupfitting #story

I don't mind when the client wants "better", which was the story of this project. Had to attack the TA Lightbar first, so I went with my Go-To Brand, Whelen, and in the software and found a configuration (not on the website), and changed EVERYTHING, sized it a lot smaller, and added clear lenses, as well as added a white illumination so they can use the TA as a "flashlight" in the rear. With that, I had to add a new control head for the lights, and with the Core-C system, I could completely manipulate what the client wanted for the pattern of all the lights, and took that a step further and programmed some extra goodies in there for the clients. Then we had to add a better way to mount the Whelen and Moto control heads, but the client didn't want a bulky console. So I tapped the Havis 8" console, and added the Magnetic mount accessory for a clean look. Then added the fuse box in the console for safety, reparability, and less bulk around the battery, with a breaker by the battery. They was more than happy with this, and this is the configuration I will use for their upcoming vehicles!

Good job team 😀
