With a recent ruling from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the future of the FTC's noncompete rule, which bans nearly all noncompete agreements, remains uncertain. On July 3, the court granted a preliminary injunction postponing the rule's effective date, September 4, but only for the plaintiffs of the Texas lawsuit. On June 27, Francine Esposito presented "Labor and Employment Updates" to the NEW JERSEY BANKERS ASSOCIATION.
