Due to a maintenance issue, the Transportation and Mobility’s Parking Services lobby, located at 290 NE 3rd Avenue, will be closed to the public until noon on Thursday, July 11. The issue is currently being addressed and the lobby is expected to reopen by midday tomorrow. There is signage notifying visitors about the temporary closure. While the lobby is closed, the public can still pay parking citations via the online payment system or by mail (City of Fort Lauderdale Citation Payment Center, P.O. Box 31631, Tampa, FL 33631-3631). We appreciate your patience while the issue is addressed. For updates, visit ftlcity.info/lobbyclosed.

New car parking fees will be introduced across the county from Friday April 19, as part of our commitment to maintain and improve our facilities. Our decision to implement new charges was made after careful consideration of several factors impacting the service. The cost of parking facilities, including infrastructure, repairs, lighting, and security has risen, and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment is essential for people using them. Car parking fees have not increased in some areas for more than a decade, with the majority unchanged for at least three years. Therefore, we will introduce an increase broadly aligned with inflation. To find out more, see https://lnkd.in/eHhDfU7u

Did you know that all private parking lots or garages are required to be licensed in Denver? City regulations are geared toward informing consumers. That’s why there are rules for consistent signage showing parking fees, payment instructions and contact information for consumers who choose to dispute a fine issued by a parking operator. Last year, Denver issued new guidelines, which have reduced the number of complaints the city has received about parking operators not following the city rules and regulations. The city received 90 such complaints in 2022 but only 60 in 2023. Read the press release we issued in April that details the changes the city made: https://bit.ly/3tOI2IF
