Chemonics is excited to share some incredible progress in #Pakistan, where women are leading the charge in #DigitalHealth! Through the Lady Health Workers (LHW) e-register Automation Pilot, we've seen a game-changing impact on community health surveillance and response. In flood-affected districts of Sindh, 57 dedicated Lady Health Workers are transforming health data management for nearly 33,000 people across nearly 6,000 households. The team has replaced cumbersome manual reporting with a user-friendly mobile app, empowering LHWs to focus on crucial health surveillance and timely referrals. This intervention lightens the reporting load for LHWs and enhances real-time community health monitoring. They can now spotlight critical areas like #FamilyPlanning, #MNCH, Nutrition, EPI, and infectious diseases. It's proof that technology is revolutionizing healthcare and referral systems, paving the way for a responsive community-level alert system. This initiative is a testament to the potential of digital tools in advancing healthcare access and quality. Check out the link below for more on how this innovative approach makes a difference. Well done, Tariq Muhammad and the team involved in advancing #GlobalHealthSecurity in Pakistan.👏: https://ow.ly/fQjz50Sykix

The transformative impact of innovative healthcare tools is evident through the #USAID #TB platforms project in the Philippines. Collaborating closely with local governments and rural health units, they have extended their reach to remote communities for #TB screening and testing. This life-changing endeavor leverages ultra-portable X-ray/CAD and Truenat systems generously provided by Stop TB Partnership as part of the Introducing New Tools Project (iNTP). These stories of individuals who have experienced the profound benefits of these tools within their own communities serve as a testament to the power of innovation in healthcare. They underscore the importance of accessible and effective #TB testing and screening in even the most remote areas, ultimately contributing to the broader goal of eradicating TB. Read on to discover the inspiring narratives of those touched by this incredible initiative. https://lnkd.in/gv49iyX7 https://lnkd.in/gAUhkHW4 #endtb

Digital technologies and telemedicine have become an integral part of our lives. They offer a way to provide timely consultations in remote areas, monitor health conditions regularly, and address the challenges of a limited health workforce environment. Such services have proven to be immensely helpful in such circumstances. UNICEF Ukraine together with partners supported primary health care facilities involved in the home-visiting programme and equipped them with telemedicine devices to screen and identify possible health risks among small children to prevent disease complications and timely referral to family doctors and paediatricians. I am proud to share this @Chemonics International technical brief with insights from the @Surjer Hashi Network’s work in Bangladesh, advancing high-quality antenatal care and delivery services. Supported by my Chemonics colleagues at the @USAID Advancing Universal Health Coverage Project, SHN’s Maternal and Newborn Health Quality Improvement initiative has been a game-changer. The initiative uses a systematic and strategic approach to elevating care standards through facility-based quality improvement teams. 🔍 The four-step improvement model is proving to be a catalyst for change: 1️⃣ Gap Identification 2️⃣ Performance Monitoring 3️⃣ Innovative Change Idea Generation 4️⃣ Iterative Testing (via "Plan-Do-Check-Act" cycle) This comprehensive framework elevates current standards of care and serves as a testament to the feasibility and effectiveness of low-cost, health worker-driven improvement interventions and its contribution to #UHC. Let's celebrate the power of collaboration and innovation in healthcare: https://ow.ly/Mh8p30syGOB
