Data Strategy takes a day to give back to the Nashville community! The Caterpillar Financial Business Information and Data Solutions team recently came together to connect in person while the office is closed for construction by volunteering at 2nd Harvest Food Bank in Nashville. At the end of the day the team processed 3,947 lbs. of food that will provide 3,289 meals that will be distributed to programs like afterschool care, soup kitchens, senior centers, and other nonprofits that provide food for people facing hunger. #WeAreCatFinancial
On Juneteenth, our Caterpillar African American Network and Lambda employee resource groups organized a happy hour to celebrate a month-long calendar of events across the community. Employee resource groups connect dedicated employees who share similar life experiences or interests. Throughout the 2023/2024 school year, more than 90 Nashville employees volunteered their time with Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee. Our team participated in classroom visits, JA in a Day and spent time at the JA Finance Park.
