When a former Master Sommelier crafts a category redefining luxury tequila, it was only a matter of time until the world began to recognize that the only thing more special than the iconic bottle is the liquid inside. Presenting our first Wine Spectator cover. This has been a goal for our team since we launched—and a goal for co-founder Richard Betts since he started in the wine industry almost 25 years ago. In addition to the cover, the impact of the Komos Foundation is also highlighted, plus a shout for our Añejo Reserva expression (“incredibly smooth and rich without being cloying”). "Stuzzi is a chameleon that seems to work with any dish it touches." - Food & Wine, April 2024 A few years ago tequila- and wine-makers Richard and Carla Betts met acclaimed chefs Ethel Hoon and Jakob Zeller while traveling through the Alps. After a few drinks, the four decided to conceive a hot sauce that would enhance all good food, building off a dream and a beloved pepper variety. Made in Italy with only three ingredients: chilies, distilled vinegar, and salt. No preservatives, artificial coloring, sweeteners, or thickeners. Stuzzi is about elevating good food, not covering it up. Stuzzi is Casa Komos Brands Group founded by Richard Betts and Joe Marchese.
