Located on a 49-acre site in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, the Jordan Downs community was originally built in the mid-1940s as temporary housing for workers during World War II, and later converted into public housing in the 1950s. BRIDGE Housing is working with The Michaels Organization and HACLA on a major redevelopment of this storied development. U.S. Bank made a $40 million equity investment and provided a $54.5 million construction loan to redevelop a key portion of the complex into 107 apartments that will serve low-to-moderate income families, currently under construction. #usbank #usbancorpimpactfinance #CommunityBuilding #AffordableHousing
