We are thrilled to announce our new CEO of Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Sam Davidson! When discussing the search, Janet Miller, our Board Chair, expressed her excitement, saying, "Being an exited entrepreneur … and somebody who's really got operational maturity, plus that idea-generating spark? Sam just seemed like the perfect marriage." Sam will be stepping into the shoes of former CEO Jane Allen, who has made a lasting impact on our organization and the entrepreneurial community we serve. We look forward to what lies ahead!

Yesterday, Metro Council passed a resolution to turn a building on Fisk University's campus into an innovation and business incubation center. One of our board members, Darrell Freeman, is spearheading the project, and is bringing the EC to support and advise. Our Board Chair Emeritus, Beth Chase, our COO, John Murdock, and our VP of Diversity, Equity & Community, Brynn Plummer all got to be on site today to see Mayor John Cooper sign the resolution and to tour the building. We look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses.
