5 years of the 100% Organic bouquet, 5 questions for our Sustainability Director Sibbe- read about it below! 💚🍃

Now that summer has come back around we were thrilled to be hosting our 100% organic bouquet PR event at The Unbound. Together with press and influencers we had a delicious lunch and learn about organic flowers with our Director of Sustainability Sibbe Krol and organic flower grower Marjolein. Following this, The Pollinators led an interactive educational workshop, to create a bee hotel for our pollinating insects.

The 100% organic bouquet is back again and we're once again thrilled to be partnered with The Pollinators, who are committed to the well-being of pollinating insects and thus help the ecosystem. With every purchase of the bouquet we donate €2 to The Pollinators.

For the run up to Mother’s Day our team delivered almost 500 bouquets to various hospitals and foodbanks around Amsterdam, to give an uplifting surprise to parents who may need a little boost, check it out! 🌸

It's Fairtrade International Week, the moment to reflect on the impact of our daily shopping. We work with a lot of Fairtrade farmers and are proud to also sell a 100% Fairtrade bouquet across all Bloom & Wild Group brands which launched earlier this year. 💐 Fairtrade flowers grow in naturally heated and lit greenhouses due to the abundance of heat and sunlight in the source countries. As a result, they have a lighter carbon footprint on average than those grown under artificial heat and light in temperate countries - even when factoring in transport. Like all our flowers, our Fairtrade flowers are traceable back to the original farm. Fairtrade-certified farms ensure safety and good working conditions for their employees. On top of this, we pay these farms a Fairtrade Premium of 10% extra for every stem sold, which is allocated to workers, to invest in healthcare, education and other social benefits. 🌻 https://lnkd.in/e_jkD4Bd

Mother's Day is fast approaching and this year we're focusing on gifts that are made just for her. We're thrilled to be partnering with Romy Boomsma for our first ever co-created vase and curated bouquet. Romy has a great love for flowers and ceramics, and is known as a creative all-rounder. Exclusively for bloomon she designed a colourful vase. 🎨 This ceramic vase has a dreamy look design and consists of handmade paintings by Romy. Every vase is unique and handmade by Royal Goedewaagen Netherlands. bloomon's floral designers have put together and filled a matching Mother's Day bouquet for Romy's vase.
